Highlight: This office chair features Ergonomic-Human-Curve designed backrest and headrest which creates total spinal support. So that the chair moves with postures to hold spine perfectly and ease pressure & pain on back for everyday use
Helpful review: “This was a Father’s Day Gift that I will be loving for years to come. There were several things that impressed me as I put this thing together:
Impressed:
- Well Designed Packaging – the nuts and bolts were clearly defined and the instructions were written and in pictures for 7 different languages. Wow!
- Tool Included – the tool included was a combination hex and screw combination ergonomically designed were it actually worked well. I didn’t have to get any tools to put this together except for a mallet to better pound in the covers.
- Ease of Putting it Together – was a 4.5 out of 5. I got everything right the first time except the bolts that required a washer and an extra flushing mount. I had to redo it after I placed it in and wondered what the extra parts were for.
- Quality of Material – was very nice and comfortable. It really felt solid after putting it together and I’m not a small person.
- Design – outstanding. There’s not too many office chairs that actually reclines with a built in feet support. This one was a little short for me cuz I tall, but it supported up to my calves which overall works for when I want to put my feet up. They even included a neck/head cushion that you can adjust to make it just right. Good job guys.
Disappointed:
- Scratches – After putting it together, I was extremely disappointed with the scratches on the seat that I know I didn’t cause. Everything was so nicely packaged with plastic, but this one definitely slipped quality control. I would almost exchange it, but it would be too much work.
- Grace given – I loved how the actually included spare parts in case you lose one. Not too many DIY furniture do that when you buy it. I was going to give this a 4 out of 5 star, but putting in the spare parts made me give them the grace that they deserve!
Having said all that, I would definitely recommend and buy this again. You get what you pay for, and this was definitely worth the money you paid for.”

Trending review: “Definitely better than what I expected. Price is great, quality is great, comfort is great. The mesh is keeping me a lot cooler than my previous “leather” chair, and the ergonomics of this chair are very comfortable for my back. Sometimes I forget the headrest is there, until I lean my head back and am greeted with a soft mesh back. The metal base is very sturdy, and I absolutely love the look of this chair. Fits my little gaming section perfect. The back does have a very slight wobble due to the way the chair is made, and only time will tell how long it holds up. But for now I am very pleased with my purchase would would definitely recommend giving this chair a try.
Edit: After a couple months I’ve noticed the slight wobble comes from the screws coming loose slightly and causing the chair to rock. I’ve had to tighten the screws once a month to keep it nice and sturdy. Hopefully it’s a single default in my chair. But I would still recommend this chair to anyone.
Update 2: Chair still rocks. I am going to apply some screw tape and hope that keeps them in place, but I had to remove a star based upon the fact that I’ve found myself constantly tightening the screws every two weeks now.”

3. Nouhaus – Rolling Desk Chair with 4D Adjustable Armrest
Top-rated: 6,282 Ratings

Highlight: With it’s 4D Adjustable Armrest and Lumbar System, ElastoMesh, 135 Degree Back Tilt, Smooth HydraLift, Dual Castors (and a Bonus set of hardwood floor Blade Castors) – it’s easy to think the Ergo3D is from the future, but instead it’s evolved Ergo Seating at its finest and it’s here now.
Trending review: “I love this chair. I’ve used it nearly every day for two months now, and bang for buck, this was a great purchase that I would make again.
I work at a desk in my home office from 8:00am to 5:30-6:00pm every weekday, so I knew I needed to get a comfortable, ergonomic chair that wouldn’t exacerbate my posture or hurt my body from just being in it with my sedentary job. I didn’t need a super fancy-looking chair, but neither did I want an eye-sore. I also knew wanted something with great quality, first and foremost, and next had some solid and comfortable ergonomic features. This chair meets all these requirements.
I cannot understate how much the roller blade wheels change my life. I am never going back. These things are silent, smooth, and can go over nearly any material. I don’t have to push as hard or as much to move. I have poured concrete floors in my office, but see that long-haired rug in the photos? You bet your bottom dollar that this baby can roll smoothly from the concrete and over onto the rug it without getting stuck or having to push/pull for significant drag and it blew my mind the first time.
The arm rest positioning is quite customizable: the pads can turn inward and outward, slide forward or back, as well as move up and down. The arm rest pads have a little soft give to them but are fairly firm.
The headrest piece goes up and down as well as tilts forward or back. You could even decide not to install, if you didn’t need or love it, and I think it wouldn’t significantly detract from the chair’s aesthetics (just two simple drill holes in the back).
The composite plastic-fabric material (“ElastoMesh”) is super breathable and would be so easy to clean if I ever did spill anything on it. My body (well, butt, really) does not feel like it sinks in to the seat any more or less than a normal office chair. (Phone for scale in the chair seat picture is an old Apple iPhone 6S Plus.) In fact, I think the tensile stress of this fabric gives me a slight spring, bounce and energy when I sit in it, which I actually prefer now to a soft, dense, lethargic piece of foam. The mesh fabric is soft to the touch with light pressure, and grippy with string-like friction with hard pressure. I’ve never had a problem with the textile.
At first I was concerned that the lower lumbar piece was not adjustable, but it’s quite supportive with this unique mesh and strong curvature. I’m 5’6″ and the shape of the back contours quite naturally to me by default. I could imagine someone much bigger though possibly needing to adjust this or the whole back piece up from the seat. This would be my ONLY critique about the chair.
I usually sit and have the chair tilted fully upright, but one could have this unlocked to smoothly dip back with pressure. You can also lock the tilt so it stays as your preferred angle. I feel fine (good, even) sitting in this chair for long periods of time, even though I do try to get up and move often. I’ve never felt pain standing up from it.
This chair was better than most options I saw at an Office Depot. Most other corporate offices I’ve worked in had Herman Miller furniture, and I would say this chair could go head to head with their Aeron or Mirra designs in terms of quality and functionality.”

4. RESPAWN – 110 Ergonomic Gaming Chair with Footrest Recliner
Top-rated: 32,688 Ratings

Highlight: With segmented padded designed to give highly contoured support when and where you need it most, this ergonomic chair is also equipped with an extendable footrest for position reinforcement. Adjustable headrest and lumbar support pillows, as well as padded armrests provide all-around comfort.
Most-discussed review: “First of all I only looked at this one because I wanted to get one of those DXracer ones all the cool kids on Twitch have, to see what all the hype was about and I could not find one for sale anywhere. Secondly all the other “gamer” chairs and other “gamer” stuff in general look like trash, way too busy with “gamer” colors and bizarre designs in general. For this model I went for the black and gray one, naturally.
Wow. after sitting on a $35 walmart thing for years (and the $200 “executive” chair my boss bought for the office that is nowhere near as nice or comfortable as this), what they say is true: the things youre gonna spend the most time using, shoes, beds, and chairs, dont cheap out (and keyboards too. I’m never buying non-mechanical ever again). And I sit and type alot so thats important. I’m most shocked at how stable this thing is, even when fully reclined. I recently cracked some ribs and so when i started putting it all the way back I got really scared, because I’ve never had a chair that did that before and being that this is the “budget” option I had no idea if this thing was gonna tip over and pop my still healing ribs. It is incredibly stable, and I’m a reasonably big guy (for you) (sorry its a Dark Night Rises joke that I cant ever help but make) at 6’2″ and 210lbs. Even trying like an idiot to tip it over back and forth and side to side. I’d feel comfortable reclining it back and having a nap. The material seems and feels nice enough, its got metal internal construction, there are actual bearings, like real ball bearings in the armrests at the mount points.Time of course will tell how the material and of course the padding is going to hold up. But the underlying metal frame construction was impressive. One little complaint I have is that the armrest wiggles just a hair bit. But hey, theres ball bearings holding it on and its gotta have a little play in it to move when you recline. I do worry about the material of the elastic straps that holds the pillows on, because it seems to me that in, probably a years or so time, is going to fray. Especially the optional (both are optional of course, and after getting them adjusted for you just right, I’d never take them off) lumbar one what constantly gets gets forced around by your body, this would have to be my guess of the first point of failure, but not really that big of a deal. Everybody’s got a sewing kit and can pop down to walmart or order it here to pick up some more elastic fabric for like $3 and spend 20 minutes just popping a new one on. I will say that the included Allen wrenches for assembly are garbage. I tried to use them for something else and after putting like 10 or so foot pounds on it the head just rounded right off. But they were otherwise just going to get used once then thrown away or tossed in your “garbage tool” bag for doing stuff you dont want to use your good tools for, so whatever.
Easy to assemble, solid construction, insanely stable, very comfortable and of course excellent value. What more is there to say?”

5. JULYFOX – Reclining Office Chair w/Footrest
Top-rated: 140 Ratings

Highlight: Built in tilt mechanism allows the chair back can be locked at any angle between 90 – 170 degree for different mode,90 degree for working, and 170 degree for a rest. With a retractable footrest, this chair is a perfect reclining office chair.
Trending review: “Alright heres a review with enough personality in it to help put you at ease to know that its not forced and will help you decide for or against your purchase. Soooo I was basically after a gamer style chair for the comfort and reclining but kept seeing horrible quality control issues at that price range even with allegedly good reviews to prop it up. I decided to spend a little higher and more in the office territory to HOPEFULLY skip on those issues because I want the dang product to last a long time. This is my first week in the chair, lets begin.

Shipping:
I was aware it would take a long time, and it did BUT it actually came in a few days ahead of their window so I wont count any marks off on shipping at all. The box sure as hell got slapped up on the long way over but fortunately was packed well enough that nothing seemed damaged. Well done 4/5
Assembly:
Basically came in 4 mostly assembled parts. Legs, base, arms, and back cushion. Simply join them. As it should be 5/5
Quality:
Heres the clutch part of the review that makes or breaks it. Hold your breath…. ok stop because the gamble seems to have paid off. The trim level is notably high which is what I aimed for. The leather material feels great on the skin not too hot even with my warm bloodedness. Stitching is neat and precise. The leg support feature seems like it will endure through responsible use. Height and reclining features work well. Feels solid with no loose types of rockings or noises, at least at the moment. 5/5
Comfort:
The cushions are ample and do need to be worn in a bit but I can already tell its a comfy chair for long sits. The arm cushions are THICK as a bowl of oatmeal, something all those other chairs lacked and I want pampered elbows. The lumbar cushion is VITAL for longer duration sits and well implemented and adjustable, also one of my main priorities. The head cushion is good for reclining but not nearly defined enough to support working while reclined
(I know I know… but thats my personal posh style :D). Many other chairs have additional neck/head pillows so I knew what I was getting into and bought my own memory foam neck pillow with elastic strap and it works exactly like the lumbar cushion only its for the head. Its a cheap and easy fix that looks like its part of the chair and completes the absolute comfort I was after. No marks off because they made it clear what I was buying into and the fix is stupidly easy. 5/5
Final Verdict:
Im easily going to give it a 5/5. Very pleased and comfortably working. The price justifies the product though I would totally include a head pillow with this product if I was them and wanted to absolutely wreck the competition. Im aware things can change as use goes on so rest assured if sudden quality issues come up I’ll be back here like a Karen out of hell to update. But in the meantime I have no reasons to not be pleased. Hope this helps in your search for a comfy chair :D”
Most-discussed review: “UPDATE: after the 2nd email to the seller I got what I needed to put the chair together. For the most part it was easy to assemble. I had a little trouble connecting the back piece to the seat and I was a bit perplexed by the flap in the front but I got it together. It’s a very comfortable chair with a nice reclining angle. The caster are stiff so you don’t roll all over creation which is nice. Overall I love the chair and recommend it to anyone who sits for an extended period of time.
If I receive a response from the seller, I will gladly change my rating but right now it’s 1 star because I sent them an email 3 days ago and they have yet to respond.
About the chair. You will need to have 4 hands to to assemble this chair. It’s very heavy so holding the back piece to the seat while you bolt them together is out of the question. Otherwise it was fairly easy to assemble for as far as I got. Waiting on seller to contact me about a misplaced bolt to see if they will let me buy another one.”

6. Dowinx – Gaming Chair with Massage Lumbar Support
Top-rated: 13,879 Ratings

Highlight: Extraordinary sitting experience guaranteed by our patented linkage armrest and the massage lumbar pillow with a fits-all USB port which helps a lot with easing back pain.
Helpful review: “Pros:
First, I have to say that I am a retired Engineer and as such I am very picky about products and how they work, or in many cases, how they don’t work. This DOWINX gaming chair is the best chair (5 stars) I could find after researching over 40 chairs. It is comfortable, no wait, it is REALLY comfortable and very quiet with the exception noted in the Cons. I was trying out the reclining function and fell asleep in the chair after assembly. My wife woke me up an hour later; otherwise I would have slept through the night in the chair. The chair turns very easily and with one push and you could turn around more than 360 degrees without any noise or resistance. The wheels move the chair effortlessly on my carpeted floor.
This model fully reclines 180 degrees to make it flat if you want and can be locked into any position between 90 and 180 degrees. It also has a rocking function which allows a 20 degree deviation from where you have the reclining set to. There is a tension control knob under the seat for the rocking function. The seat to ground distance is ~16 to 19 inches when you are seated. Add 1 inch if the chair is empty.
It has a footrest which is stored under the seat that can be pulled out, flipped over, and extended for reclining or sleeping. Some people have complained about footrests breaking on other chairs. So long as you don’t put a lot of weight on it, I think it will serve its purpose. It is very useful when reclining or napping.
There is detachable lumbar support (with massager) and a head pillow. The head pillow is the right size for me (I’m 5’10”) and offers some adjustment up/down, however there isn’t anything there to keep it in place. I don’t view this as a big problem since you can reach back and fix it easily. The lumbar support is thinner than most other chairs and works well, at least for me, until you recline past ~110 degrees, then it feels like it is too thick. It can be removed if you find it a problem. It does have a built-in massage function that runs off of a 5v USB source. The massager is noisy but not as loud as others. I didn’t find it as relaxing as I thought it might be, so I’m not using it right now. That may change.
You’ll need about an hour to assemble this chair if you have put things together before and maybe another hour if this is your first assembly project. Although I assembled it alone, I could have benefited from another person’s help.Cons:
– John Steele
With the rocking feature engaged, there are some noises at the limits of the 20 degree rocking motion. This is caused by the lever that adjusts the seat up/down. It moves when rocking and has metal to metal contact at the limits of the rocking function. If it bothers you, it can be fixed by placing a thin (1/8” or less) adhesive backed, rubber pad on the metal surfaces above and below the moving metal parts.
The tools provided are not hardened steel and deform easily when tightening the screws. I will suggest you go buy some quality Metric Allen wrenches before assembly. You will need 5 and 6 mm sizes that are at least 2 inches long on each side.
There is no good way to make sure that the metal rods of the footrest are parallel so they don’t bind. The best way is to anchor one screw on each plastic guide and test fit the footrest. If parallel, place some tape as a position marker; slide the footrest out; and install the other screws.
When reclining, the seat back rises about 2.5 inches with relationship to the seat. Add the lumbar support and the 2.5” becomes 5+”. See the pictures. Everything is okay without the lumbar support.
When you attach the chair back to the seat, put all of the screws in first but don’t tighten them yet. There are two brackets coming from the seat that will support the seat back. The top hole on one of these brackets is round and is the least adjustable. This is the anchor point for mounting the seat back, tighten this screw first and then the one below it. Other than the first hole, the other holes are elongated to allow for adjustment. When the first side has been tightened, notice the gap between the seat and bottom of the chair back. Place something in between there to keep the gap the same size from side to side. I used a book. Then tighten the remaining screws. This will ensure that your seat back isn’t leaning to one side.
The instruction you get comes in the form of a small picture booklet. Most everything you need is there, but it could be improved. There is some Chinese English, but better than most. DOWINX should add information on the tension control, describing which direction does what. Adding a picture of how to properly put the lumbar support on (not a big problem) would also be good also.
The packing materials smell. I think they put something in their packing to make sure no bugs survive the trip to the US. When you are done assembling open a window for a few hours.”
7. Duramont – Reclining Leather Office Chair
Top-rated: 699 Ratings

Highlight: The high back design gives you maximum support for comfort and convenience. The chair has soft padding and a waterfall seat edge for less pressure on the back of your legs so that you can stay comfortable even when you have to sit down for hours. Forget about uncomfortable office chairs that make it impossible to concentrate on your work. The Duramont executive chair was designed to give you uttermost comfort
Trending review: “Overall, I really like this chair.
I purchased it for my home office because sitting 8-12 hours in a hard uncomfortable chair was torture.
This chair does keep me pretty comfy throughout the day…though if I could make a change it would be to add a little more cushion because I do tend to like more of a plush chair….though it’s way better than the gaming chairs I was looking at before. The footrest was a big sell for me because obviously my focus was comfort and I really like being able to kick up my feet now and then. I am happy to say that even though it’s a pull out it comes out really easily and is way more sturdy than I thought it would be. I haven’t had any issues with anything breaking or acting up with the footrest or any other part of the chair.
The recline is also nice, and I like that I can set it and it’s not one of those chairs that recline but you have to put your body into it…you just use the lever until you find the most comfortable position and set it.
I would have appreciated a little more upper back support as I tend to have problems with neck over lower back, but lumbar support is good.
Overall if you’re looking for something that is comfortable for everyday working or long gaming sessions I would definitely recommend. “

Most-discussed review: “I love the soft [leather] material and the lumbar support. At first learning the adjustments was a bit odd. But to start you out, the right side paddle is for raising and lowering the seat. The left side paddle is different, it is to be pushed forward, not up or down and it allows you to lower the back. Now once doing that you have to move the paddle toward the back to get it to lock in place, mind you, the paddle is stiff and new and will spring back with such a fury it will get your fingers! It will snap suddenly! Just a warning. Next…. The instructions doesn’t mention that when you go to attach the bottom of the seat to its back piece that the bracket is to slide behind and in order to do that you first remove the short bolts from the bracket. I understand now, that it’s all said and done that the insert of those bolts was perfect for the shipment but not for brains like mine, likely my son caught the logical build of the chair. Now as far as the number news of the foot brace brackets becoming loose from use… My solution is to prop up my feet on another chair until the time I want to take a nap, then I’ll use the attached for rest so as to not over use it and prolong this special feature.”
